World News Mashup was a parody of the type of news reporting to which we’ve become altogether too accustomed. Urgent sounding but without context, I think the show lives up to the triple entendre of its tagline: “The news doesn’t get any better.”
Here it is “loud, unbalanced” (and just over 2 minutes long).
Irrespective of the comedy, I hope you’ll appreciate the production values of the piece. With multiple sound elements and the read at breakneck pace, it’s a decent showcase for both my vocal and editing abilities.
I also wrote the piece, juxtaposing snips and buzzwords from news articles of the day.

I’m not sure that I would usually describe myself as a “voice actor” but the persona I developed for World News Mashup probably puts me in that realm.

Here’s a sample of my voice and production work from The Frank Truth, my Sinatra show. The program (from April of 2009) is an interview with Arranger, Conductor and Record Producer Charles Calello. Mr. Calello served as Arranger and Conductor for Frank Sinatra’s Watertown album.
I began production of this program in February of 2005 and produced the last episode in December of 2010, making it one of the longest-running shows on the Net. It also aired nationally in the U.S. for two years on the Sirius Satellite Radio Stars Channel on Wednesday evenings.
The Frank Truth has been featured on the news page of the Sinatra Family Website, and was widely recognized as the premiere Sinatra show online.
